AND SPEAKING OF WINNERS...

Meredian Pictures & Words author and publisher Henri Rennie has been announced as one of the authors included in the new anthology

Seniors Stories Volume 8.

Produced annually by the New South Wales Department of Family & Community Services, this year's theme was Celebrating Diversity.

Henri's story - "Proud" - is a celebration of his own ethnic origins, and a consideration of racial attitudes both in Australia and overseas.  It's been described as 'powerful' and 'surprising'.

It's another welcome accolade, to stand beside his Mary Shelley Bicentennial Short Story Award, and the Nancy Fairfax Writer-in-Residence award.

You'll find plenty of Henri's work (mostly under the name 'Renoir') in our Fiction catalogue.

Seniors Stories V. 8, at NSW Parliament House.
